What is the practical use of the public API?

It is used to expose your Tourbiz data (products, inventory, orders, customers) to third-party tools, or to receive information from other tools. Example: a distributor wants to sell your activities? They connect to your Tourbiz API. Do you have a WordPress site or a CMS? You display real-time availability and prices. Simple.

Can I limit what I expose?

Yes. You control the rights and access. You can:

Limit a token to certain products only
Grant read-only or read/write access
Revoke access at any time

You decide. The API does not expose anything without your explicit agreement.

Does the API allow for direct order creation?

Yes. A connected partner can book directly. They send the customer info + date + product + quantity, and Tourbiz automatically creates the order. You can then validate, collect payment, or produce the voucher without doing anything. Everything is tracked, clean, and structured.

Can I connect a CMS or a frontend to the API?

Yes, the API is designed for that. It allows you to power a shop, a mobile app, or an e-commerce website. Products, availabilities, images, prices, and inventory are updated in real-time. You no longer manage anything manually.

Is there technical documentation available?

Yes. You receive access to our complete API documentation as soon as the option is activated on your account. It is readable, testable, with concrete examples and clear endpoints. You don’t need a senior developer to understand it.

Is the API paid?

No, it is included in your Tourbiz subscription if you request it. No usage cost. If you need a specific adaptation (OAuth authentication, custom endpoint, custom webhooks…), a quote can be provided.
